Welcome to the 2026 Winter TUCAN Collaboration Meeting

 

The goals of the meeting are to:

  • Share brief status updates
  • Discuss data analysis and publication plans
  • Plan activities during the shutdown
  • Review current resources and plan future funding applications
  • Enhance collaboration cohesion through social activities

 


 

The venue

This collaboration meeting will take place at the Instituto de Física of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), in Mexico City.

Remote connection will also be available.

 

Destination/Airport

The closest airport is AICM (Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México – Benito Juárez). Recommended transportation options from the airport to the hotel include Airport Taxis (official taxi booths are located inside the terminals) or Uber, which is widely used and reliable in Mexico City.

 

Host hotel

The host hotel will be Radisson Paraíso, located near Ciudad Universitaria (UNAM’s main campus) and approximately a 10-minute drive from the Instituto de Física. The Cuicuilco archaeological site is also within walking distance of the hotel.

A special rate for UNAM visitors is $2031 MXN per night (including tax), applicable to one-king or two-bed rooms, for up to two adults and up to two children under 12.
