If you are travelling from abroad and are not a Candian Citizen or Permanent Resident, here is some important information for your visit.
You need a letter of invitation written by our HR department. You may be asked to show this at the border if the border officer would like to see proof of what you are coming to TRIUMF for. Please select the appropriate box in the registration form so that we can provide a letter. This letter needs to include the dates you are entering and leaving the country.
Additionally, depending on your citizenship, you may have further requirements (e.g. a visa) to enter Canada:

- TRIUMF is unable to help with the visa application process. However you likely need the invitation letter to apply for the visa so please register as early as possible.
If you also plan to do experimental work at TRIUMF as part of your Science Week visit, you may also require a work permit; please contact your run coordinator for further information.
