Vancouver is situated on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nation.
All TRISEP lectures will be held at TRIUMF in the main office building auditorium, located at 4004 Wesbrook Mall, Vancouver, BC V6T 2A3. When you enter TRIUMF, please check in with the reception front desk, open weekdays 8:30am-4:30pm. Snack breaks and lunch will be provided as part of the school
Students are responsible for finding their own local accommodation. Reasonably affordable dorm-style accommodation can be found on UBC campus and nearby. For a list of options, see the Student Accommodation tab in the menu. Students are strongly encouraged to book early since availability is limited.
Lecturer accommodations are at TRIUMF House, 5835 Thunderbird Blvd, Vancouver, BC V6T 2L6.
TRIUMF is at the south end of UBC campus and the Gage Residences are in the middle of central campus. They are about 3km apart. The #49 bus connects from the UBC bus loop next to the residences to a stop directly in front of TRIUMF. Buses here have a card reader that takes credit cards. TRIUMF House is in between and also lies along the #49 bus line.
To get to campus from the Vancouver (YVR) airport you can take a taxi or use public transit. There is subway (Canada Line skytrain) that connects from the airport to downtown. To get to campus, take this from the airport to Broadway/City Hall station, then transfer to the #99 bus westbound to the UBC bus loop.
