Depending on your citizenship, you may require a Visitors Visa to enter Canada:
- This webpage lists countries which require a visa as well as countries that do not require a visa but do need an "electronic travel authorisation": https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/entry-requirements-country.html
- This webpage is helpful for determining what you need, especially in the case that you have e.g. resident status in the US in addition to your passport from another country: https://ircc.canada.ca/english/visit/visas.asp
- TRIUMF is unable to help with the visa application process.

Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA):
As of March 15th, 2016, any delegates from visa-exempt countries will need to apply for an eTA (electronic Travel Authorization) before they can board a flight to Canada. The eTA costs C$7.00 and allows for pre-screening of visa exempt nationals. Please check here for details related to the eTA.
