Cars and Taxis
Parking on most downtown streets is limited and often requires you to purchase and display parking tickets or register in underground parking garages. Be sure to check and obey signs along the street. City owned lots are indicated by the "Green-P" logo in a large green circle. Please note the city's weekday "rush hour" is more than an hour long; and count on heavy traffic from 7:00 am to 9:00 am / 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
There are a variety of different taxi companies in Toronto including Co-Op Cabs, Uber and Lyft.
