Dear Industrial Partners,
18th International Workshop on Targetry and Target Chemistry (WTTC18) in Whistler, BC, Canada is bi-annual Workshop focusing on Medical radionuclide production with accelerators and their application. This includes new exciting science in production of unconventional radiometals and halogens (e.g. 44Sc, 89Zr, 64Cu, 197Hg, 225Ac, 77Br, 211At etc.) and their application as well as novel targetry and radiochemistry of 18F, 11C and 68Ga.
Please visit our web page for more details: https://wttc18.triumf.ca
With easing travel restrictions and meetings returning to in-person format, we are expecting over 100 delegates from around the world from fields of nuclear physics, nuclear engineering, radiochemistry, biochemistry, and nuclear medicine.
WTTC focuses on targetry for the production of medical isotopes, primary with accelerators, in addition to target chemistry and radionuclide purification. This attracts a broad community of physicists, chemists, nuclear medicine scientists and technicians, We also will promote and encourage attendance of graduate, undergraduate students and postdocs. We also will conduct three days hands-on Summer school before the actual meeting mainly focusing on educational components for next generation of scientist and professionals in nuclear medicine field.
Commercial vendors will benefit from networking with radiochemistry leaders, learning state of the art of targetry, radiochemistry and radiopharmaceutical formulation and also may attract the young generation with new trends and opportunities in the commercial sector.
