XeSAT 2026 Poster Session
Date and Time
- Tuesday May 19 during the Welcome Reception
- Posters will be set up during the morning coffee break so that they can be informally discussed over lunch and during the afternoon coffee break before the official evening reception
- Each presenter will be assigned a poster board number for poster placement
Poster Requirements
- Max poster size: 121.9 cm x 91.4 cm (48 inch x 36 inch) - approximately A0
- Preferred orientation: portrait
Competition
- Must be a student or postdoc to be eligible for the competition
- Judges will score posters based on science content, oral and visual science communication (rubric below)
- Prizes will be awarded to top-scoring presenters
- A prize will also be awarded to the winner of a "People's Choice" vote
Rubric
Categories:
- Scientific Content – clarity of context and objectives, soundness of methodology and analysis, quality and interpretation of results
- Impact in the Field – originality of and contribution to the field of xenon-based science or technology, potential scientific and/or technological impact
- Visual Communication – organization and logical flow of the poster, clarity and readability of text and figures, relevance of figures and visuals
- Oral Communication – clarity and structure of explanation, ability to highlight key messages, engagement with audience, quality of responses to questions
Each category will be scored on a 1 to 5 scale, for a score out of 20.
