Poster session

We invite undergraduate and graduate students to register for the Science Week poster session and present their research! The number of accepted poster submission is limited: don't hesitate to register now using the link below!

The best poster(s) will be determined by judges as well as a popular vote. Prizes for the Judges' Choice Award and the People's Choice Award will be awarded after the coffee break directly following the talk competition on Wednesday afternoon.

Share your research! Prepare a poster to highlight your results and take the opportunity to explain in person to your colleagues during the poster session.

When?

Monday, 28 July 2025 - 17:30- 20:00 (Poster session)

Wednesday, 30 July 2025 - 15:30 (Prize presentation)

In the fire lane where the coffee breaks are being held.

Poster specifications and printing

Please make your poster in portrait mode. There is a maximum poster width set by our poster boards. Please make your poster at maximum 25 inches (62 cm) wide. The largest standard paper size which fits on our boards in portrait mode is A1

Posters must be printed off site as TRIUMF no longer has a poster printer. Staples can do this, as can many other print shops. Please ask your supervisor to pay for printing costs.

Competition rubric

While the poster session is open to all, student posters will be automatically entered for competition. The judges will use the following rubric:
